Landasan Lumayan Supports Selangor’s World Water Day Celebration: Committed to Clean Water for the Future

Today, Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd was among the sponsors of the state-level World Water Day celebration at Tasik Perdana Ampang, organised by Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (LUAS).

With the theme “Water for Peace,” the event highlighted the importance of safeguarding our water sources to ensure long-term sustainability and a reliable supply for future generations in Selangor.

The event was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari , Menteri Besar Selangor, who subsequently launched two key initiatives:

1. Zero Discharge Policy – This policy aims to ensure that no pollutants are discharged into our water bodies, requiring all facilities to treat waste to the highest standards before release.

2. Polluters Pay Principle – This principle ensures that those responsible for pollution bear the costs of managing and mitigating environmental damage, encouraging cleaner practices and technologies.

Together, we are committed to preserving our rivers and securing clean water for future generations.
