Mangrove Restoration and Educational Trip at Mangrove Point, Port Klang

Kudos to the 70 staff members from the Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd (MRL) and China Communications Construction (CCC) from East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project who volunteered during the Mangrove Restoration and Educational Trip at Mangrove Point, Port Klang.

The dedicated volunteers collected waste trapped in the mangroves, helping to restore this vital ecosystem, and planted 100 new mangrove trees, which will protect the shoreline and enhance biodiversity. They also participated in a River Educational Trip where they visited our log boom, water quality monitoring station, and Interceptor 005 to raise awareness about LLSB’s cleaning and rejuvenating efforts along the Klang River. This initiative is part of MRL and CCC’s commitment to supporting mangrove and river conservation.

Together, we are making a positive impact on our environment and ensuring a greener future for all.
