JOB OVERVIEW
A highly motivated and strategic-minded Assistant Manager / Manager of the Strategic Communication and Sustainability Department to lead and manage content development, strategic messaging, media relations, communications and sustainability reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the company’s brand narrative, ensuring effective communication of LLSB’s sustainability initiatives, and strengthening its position as a leader in river rejuvenation and sustainable development.
The candidate will also work closely with the Head of Department to strategically plan and execute sustainability initiatives, focusing on ESG pillars for LLSB, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory frameworks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Development & Strategic Messaging
- Develop compelling content for corporate communications, including press releases, speeches, reports, website content, and social media.
- Craft and implement strategic messaging that aligns with LLSB’s vision, sustainability goals, and key projects such as the Selangor Maritime Gateway (SMG).
- Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication channels, including internal and external stakeholders.
- Media & Public Relations Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, journalists, and key industry stakeholders.
- Develop and execute media strategies to enhance brand awareness and public perception of LLSB’s initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage and manage responses to public inquiries or crisis situations.
- Corporate & Sustainability Reporting
- Lead the preparation of sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, and corporate presentations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Work closely with relevant departments to collect data and showcase LLSB’s progress in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.
- Assist in aligning LLSB’s sustainability communications with state and national policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communications Strategy
- Support engagement with key stakeholders, including government agencies, investors, community groups, and NGOs, to communicate LLSB’s sustainability and river rejuvenation efforts.
- Develop and implement communication strategies for corporate events, forums, and public engagements.
- Manage partnerships and collaborations that enhance LLSB’s brand and sustainability initiatives.
- ESG & Sustainability Initiatives
- Work closely with the Head of Department to strategically plan and execute sustainability initiatives, focusing on ESG pillars for LLSB.
- Develop and implement ESG-related initiatives that align with LLSB’s long-term sustainability goals.
- Ensure ESG initiatives contribute to LLSB’s corporate objectives and regulatory compliance.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, strategic messaging, or sustainability reporting.
- Experience in media relations, ESG communications, and stakeholder engagement is preferred.
- Strong writing and editorial skills with the ability to craft compelling content.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in media engagement, crisis communications, and brand management.
- Understanding of sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting, etc.).
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Passionate about sustainability, environmental conservation, and community engagement.
- Strong network with media, industry professionals, and sustainability practitioners.
- Creative and proactive in developing impactful communication strategies.

POSITION : EXECUTIVE
DEPARTMENT : STRATEGIC PLANNING AND INVESTMENT
REPORTING TO : MANAGER, STRATEGIC PLANNING AND INVESTMENT
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparation of the Company’s Annual Business Plan workshop including formulating the direction, target and KPIs for the new and ongoing initiatives / business activities.
- Assist in providing budget and financial support through budget planning, monitoring and managing expenses effectively with an eye towards overall cost savings.
- Review and analyze relevant consolidated data to develop a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd Corporate Scorecard in alignment with the approved business plan and budget and Rancangan Selangor 1.
- Assist in facilitating and coordinating the preparation of corporate reports on monthly, quarterly, Corporate KPI, and progress updates of the current and ongoing initiatives for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist to lead compilation of monthly progress / performance and review supporting data from project owners and relates to current performance.
- Assist on monitoring organizational performance by tracking progress and ensuring delivery of plans. Identify / highlight issues and propose key mitigation plans to close performance gaps and develop, initiate and monitor the execution of action plans.
- Assist in developing and research on proposals/studies of new initiatives and programmes and coordinate the progress of high impact project with taskforce members.
- Support project team and all other corporate development activities of Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd.
- Carry out any other duties, tasks or assignment which will be directed / assigned by the Manager, Strategic Panning & Investment and Director, Strategic Planning & Investment and Management from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / Finance / Economics / Business Studies / Investment or equivalent.
- At least 3 – 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably has an exposure on strategic planning and investment.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Intermediate / Advance in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint.
- Excellent communication skills in both writing and verbal.

JOB OVERVIEW
A Senior Executive, Content Creator and Graphic Designer to lead the development of compelling visual content that aligns with LLSB’s brand identity and sustainability-driven initiatives, particularly under the Selangor Maritime Gateway (SMG) project. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in conceptualising and executing creative designs across multiple platforms to enhance public perception of the Klang River and promote LLSB’s initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Branding & Visual Identity: Develop and maintain consistent branding guidelines for all SMG and LLSB communications.
- Graphic Design & Content Creation: Design marketing materials, brochures, reports, social media graphics, infographics, presentations, and event collaterals.
- Multimedia & Digital Design: Create visually appealing digital content, including website graphics, animations, and short videos for online engagement.
- Photography & Videography: Capture and edit high-quality images and videos for marketing, communications, and documentation purposes.
- Event & Campaign Support: Design visuals for corporate events, exhibitions, and environmental awareness campaigns, ensuring brand consistency.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with other departments within the organisation to translate concepts into compelling visuals.
- Project & Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors, printers, and creative agencies to ensure high-quality outputs and timely deliveries.
- Image Bank: Curate, organise, and maintain a centralised repository of high-quality images for LLSB’s projects, events, and initiatives, ensuring proper categorisation and easy accessibility.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Multimedia Design, or any related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a corporate, agency, or sustainability-focused environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and other design software.
- Creative Skills: Strong conceptual thinking, layout design, and visual storytelling abilities. Experience with motion graphics, video editing, social media contents and UI/UX design is an added advantage. Proficient in social media content management.
- Communication Skills: Ability to present ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Able to write and communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Attention to Detail: Strong eye for aesthetics, typography, and branding consistency.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work is required.
