Community River Park

The focus of this project is to promote and support the integrated management of river basins with particular emphasis on ensuring that biodiversity and wetland conservation and community considerations are incorporated into river basin management that includes development of eco-city. Nevertheless, the evolution of Community River Park shall commence upon the completion of rehabilitation works at Telok Kapas.

Educational gardens demonstrate natural water cleansing processes in order to gain knowledge regarding the methods that lead to awareness among the inhabitants. Besides the gardens, integrated green buffer with nearby development is one of the ideas to maintain the green concept as well as linear riverfront park but only with minimum impact approach for each housing area. Somehow the existence of natural playground might be handy for connection between children and nature besides having educational and interpretative signages which keeping their interests bold and dauntless.
